Natural science, Technology and Communication
Upper secondary education in Denmark is divided into a number of different fields. The technical colleges offer studies in one field: HTX (Higher Technical Exam)
It takes three years to complete upper secondary education in general, and it is comparable to the British sixth-seventh forms. The completion of upper secondary education is marked with a diploma and in many cases there will be formal graduation with the presenting of the diploma for the graduating class of the given year. Upper secondary education qualifies the student for admission into further education at university level and at colleges for short and medium-cycle higher education. At Odense and Vejle Upper Secondary Technical colleges, we offer our students a choice between three different fields of study: - Natural science - Technology - Communication The majority of our students continue studies to become engineers at a technical faculty at one of the Danish universities. (i.e. Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor/Master of Science).
